Police on Monday arrested two persons during a routine naka checking near Baba Dem area of Srinagar, recovering arms, ammunition and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) posters from their possession.
The accused — Faisal Ahmad Bhat of Malpora Habba Kadal and Faisal Ahmad Guroo of Rajouri Kadal — were intercepted on a motorcycle. Police seized one pistol, three magazines, 21 live rounds, two mobile phones and 10 LeT posters from them.
A case (FIR No. 26/2025) has been registered under relevant sections of the UAPA and Arms Act. Further investigation is underway.
