Srinagar, Oct 26 : Reacting to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tour to Taj Mahal on Thursday, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah asked when was the last time there was so much hype around a visit to the world-renowned monument.

โ€œWhen was the last time there was so much hype around a visit to the @TajMahal?โ€ Mr Abdullah, also the working president of National Conference, tweeted.
Mr Adityanath visited Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, days after many senior BJP leaders have made provocative statements against the 17th century Mughal era monument built by Shah Jahan.
The UP government also came under severe criticism early this month after Taj Mahal failed to find a spot in the stateโ€™s tourism booklet.
Taj Mahal also didnโ€™t find any mention in the BJP governmentโ€™s first state budget for 2017-18 in the special section โ€˜Hamari Sanskritik Virasatโ€™ (Our Cultural Heritage) that was incorporated in the Finance Ministerโ€™s 63-page statement.
