SRINAGAR | NOV 15: A Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant was arrested in an injured condition in Kund village of Kulgam in south Kashmir on Wednesday, police said.
An official said that Aaqib Ahmad, a resident of Rangath Noorabad, was arrested from where a fresh gunfight broke out today.
Ahmad, he said, had slipped into forests during a gunfight with forces yesterday.
Source said that he was arrested in an injured condition from a health facility in the area.
Meanwhile, a gunfight is going on in Kund village. Two militants are reportedly trapped inside the cordoned off area. (PTK)
