Srinagar, Jan 20: Three civilians and an army soldier were killed in fresh incidents of border shelling in Jammu region on Saturday.

“Pakistan violated fresh ceasefire in RS Pora, Arnia and Kanachak in Jammu, Jalllas in Poonch”, a police spokesman told GNS.

In these incidents, three civilians and an army man were killed while as 16 civilians and two troopers including an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of BSF and one SSB personnel suffered injuries, he said.

“All the injured have been hospitalized”.

With the killing of three civilians and an army man, the death toll rises to 9 since last few days in the cross border and LoC shelling. (GNS)
