New Delhi, Jan 31 :ย  Delhi Police has rescued a 12-year-old boy, who was kidnapped from North East Delhi’s Jyoti Nagar Kardampuri area and arrested two kidnappers in this connection, police said on Wednesday.

According to DCP North East district Ajit Kumar Singla, a 12-year-old boy of Kardampuri near West Jyoti Nagar was kidnapped on Monday.

While he was coming back from tuition, two boys approached and abducted the boy, on pretext of taking him to his uncle’s place.

The kidnappers had demanded ransom money of Rs one crore in this matter, the senior police official said.

It was revealed that one of the accused, namely Tarif was worker in a Gokalpuri factory, owned by the victim’s father, while the other accused Danish was the ex-employee of the victim’s father.(UNI)
