Srinagar, Feb 28:ย  Life remained affected for the second day on Wednesday in parts of north Kashmir district of Bandipora, where body of a foreign militant of Lashkher-Toiba (LeT), injured in an encounter with security forces on February 26, was recovered on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a police spokesman appealed to people not to heed rumours being spread about the situation in Hajan on social media.

Shops and business establishments remained closed and traffic was off the road in Hajan and adjoining areas.
Work in government offices and banks was also affected.
Security forces and police personnel remained deployed to maintain law and order.
