Srinagar: Continuing its 46 years of motto of “Serving the Deserving” since 1972, the J&K Yateem Trust yet again distributed food kits worth Rs 11,25,000 among 450 widow headed families in a simple but an impressive function organized on 22nd May (Tuesday) 2018 at Central Office, Haft Chinar Srinagar. The main aim of this distribution was to help these families to celebrate the holy month of Ramadhan with zeal and comfort and to enable them to keep fasts. The function was presided over by the patron of the Trust- Z A Tak, who while speaking on the occasion impressed up on the widows to educate their children for which he assured them full support of the Trust. He also impressed upon to inculcate Islamic character among themselves and their children.  The function was attended by the number of scholars and respected citizens who hailed the Trust for conducting such charitable functions on frequent basis.
