‘We are keeping a close watch on travel agencies’
Srinagar: As the process for pilgrimage to holy Mecca has been kick-started, the administration in Srinagar has appealed to the aspirants to remain cautious of fake tour and travel agencies from being duped.
“We appeal the people to remain cautious from fake tour and travel agencies from being duped. Many such cases have been reported in the past,” an official in Srinagar administration told KNS.
“Aspirants should inquire, check registration of the travel agencies before they apply for their pilgrimage,” the official said.
The official said that administration has taken a serious notice of the past complaints about duping of Haj aspirants.
“The administration is keeping a close watch on the travel agencies to check duping of people in the name of Hajj and Umrah,” the official said. (KNS)
