Srinagar: D C Raina has been appointed as new advocate general of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials sources said that Governor NN Vohra Wednesday issued formal orders in this regard.
“In exercise of his power under the J&K Constitution, Governor NN Vohra today appointed Sr Advocate D C Raina as Advocate General of Jammu and Kashmir State,” sources quoting the government order said.
Pertinently, Advocate Jahangir Iqbal Ganai, had put-in his papers soon after BJP pulled out of the alliance with PDP.(Agencies)
