New Delhi, Aug 22 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah will hand over urns containing ashes ‘Asthi Kalash’ of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee to all state party presidents here on Wednesday.
The ‘Atal Kalash Yatra’ would be held from State Capital to the level of ‘talukas’ in each State, according to a statement issued by the party.
All state BJP units would be organising ‘Shradhanjalis’ in the respective states.
The urns would be immersed in respective rivers after ‘Atal Kalash Yatra’, it said.
A party release said, the state BJP presidents will organise an ‘Asthi Kalash yatra’ in their respective state capitals and in all districts before immersing the ashes in rivers across the country.
