Srinagar 1 Oct: Pampore town of  south Kashmir district observed a spontaneous shutdown today after rumours made rounds that one of the two militants killed in central Kashmir’s Budgam district in an encounter was a local militant.

 All shops and business establishments observed a spontaneous shutdown this morning when rumours spread in this Saffron town that a local militant Mohammad Amin of Drangbal was slain in an encounter with government forces in Zagoo area of Budgam..

Amin had joined Lashkar-e- Toiba militant a few months earlier.
