Srinagar: Government on Friday imposed strict curfew in Bhadarwah valley and Doda town of Jammu and Kashmir following killing of a senior BJP leader and his brother in Kishtwar town last night.

Official sources said that the curfew has been imposed as a “precautionary measure” in view of killings of BJP state secretary Anil Parihar, 52, and his brother.

No violent incident was reported in the towns and troops of Rashtriya Rifles based at Bhadarwah led by Commander 4 Sector RR took out flag march at 12 PM in the town and its peripheral areas. (Agencies)
