Srinagar, Nov 13 : Army on Tuesday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing two militants in Keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Army’s Srinagar based defence spokesperson in a statement said that the alert troops deployed along the LoC in Keran intercepted a group of militants triggering off an encounter.
During the course of the gunfight, two militants have been killed, the spokesman said.
He said that the operation in the area is ongoing. (GNS)
