Srinagar: In connection with the World Human Rights Day, police has detained Kashmir Economic Alliance chairperson, Muhammad Yasin Khan from his office in Srinagar on Wednesday.
Khan, who also heads the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation was whisked away to Kothi Baghย  Police Station soon after he reached his office, a spokesperson of the amalgam said in a statement.
Joint Resistance Leadership had called for peaceful protests against human rights violations in Kasmir.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of the KEA and KTMF has condemned police action.
