Srinagar: Government forces Saturday afternoon launched a search operation in Lal Chowk area of Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar.
Eyewitnesses said that a contingent of forces including Jammu and Kashmir police and paramilitary CRPF personnel cordoned the area, erected barricades and started a search operation.
They said that the forces searched the nearby hotels and frisked commuters.
“Forces took positions on biliding tops and drones have been pressed into services as well to search the area.”
