Srinagar, Feb 7:Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid tributes to “martyrs” advocate Muhammad Hussein, Muhammad Yakoob Khan (Chataiee), Ghulam Muhammad and Muhammad Maqbool Teli on their anniversaries.
Recalling their sacrifices, Malik in a statement issued to KPS said, “These martyrs sacrificed their today for our tomorrow.”
“Shaheed advocate Hussein was a highly educated person who embraced martyrdom at JKLF headquarters,” Malik said and expressed solidarity with his families.
JKLF also paid tributes to Zahid Farooq who was killed in 2010, on his anniversary and expressed solidarity with his bereaved family.
JKLF chairman, who was arrested yesterday while leading a protest program at Lal chowk, still remains in police custody along with party’s senior leader Ghulam Muhammad Dar, the statement said.
