Our Teen-Age Son is Innocent, Says Family of Youth Arrested for Jammu Blast
March 08 :Demanding his release, the family of Yasir Ahmed, a 14-year old has said that Yasir is innocent and has nothing to do with the Jammu blast.
Yasir was arrested for being the accused in the blast in Jammu bus stand on Thursday which left two people dead and several injured.
Saying that her brother is innocent, they said that Yasir is a student of class 9th and was at his maternal home a few days ago.
“He should be immediately released, the Governor should intervene,” the family demanded while pleading his innocence.
The family came to know of the arrest through news on the television, they claimed.
Aghast resident of his locality pleading his innocence told Tk “We appeal the authorities to release him, as he is bright and has a future ahead.”
A resident of Devsan, Yaripora, in Kulgam district of South Kashmir, Yasir has been arrested by Jammu Kashmir Police for his alleged role in the Jammu bombing. (Agencies)
