SRINAGAR: Â As many as 20 tourists were rescued in a swift operation by Jammu and Kashmir police from world famous Dal Lake following strong winds, a police spokesman said today.
He said that a group of tourists in house boats needed immediate help after strong winds in the lake last night.
Police rescue teams were immediately rushed and 20 tourists from different parts of the country, staying in the House Boats, were rescued.
The tourists were rescued as precautionary measure in view of very strong winds.
