Ganderbal: A yatri died at Baltal base camp before proceeding to Hindu holy cave in Kashmir Himalayas on Wednesday evening, reports said.
An official said that Banki Lal (59) resident of Mohalla Patel Nagar in UP had reached the Baltal base camp Wednesday.
However, he expired on Wednesday evening said the official, adding that the cause of death is believed to be ill health.
Police have taken cognizance, the death toll in the ongoing annual yatra to seven, official said.
