Srinagar, Mar 2 (UNI) Police on Monday filed a charge sheet against two persons for allegedly giving provocative speeches in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal.

A police spokesperson on Monday said that police presented a charge sheet against two accused, identified as Mohammad Rafiq Shah, resident of Shuhama, Ganderbal and Bashir Ahmad Lone, resident of Brain Nishat for their provocative speech at Chunduna Ganderbal.

โ€œIn year 2018, both the accused delivered a provocative speech on the funeral of killed militant Mohammad Rafiq Bhat at Chunduna Ganderbal,โ€ he said.

Accordingly, he said a case was registered in Police Station Ganderbal and investigation was initiated in the matter. โ€œDuring the course of investigation, police collected all the evidences regarding the case and subsequently arrested both the accused persons involved in the crime,โ€ he said.

He said police today presented charge sheet against 02 accused before the Court.
