Kasargod: Fed up with his inebriated father, a 14-year old girl allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well in her house at Kolathur in this district on the night of July 6.
The deceased was identified as Haritha, a ninth standard student of Kolathur Government High School, police said today.
Haritha, who was chased by his father with a dagger when she complained that she cannot study as she was harassed by him in an inebriated condition, jumped into the 50 ft well in her house. Â (UNI)
