Baramulla, April 09 : A local Jash-e-Muhammad militant was apprehended during cordon and search operation (CASO) in Chandusa village of North Kashmir Baramulla district today.

Reports said the joint team of 52RR, 161 TA , CRPF, SOG and police launched cordon and search operation in  sumlaran Nallah Chandoosa village and apprehended one local JeM militant along arms and ammunition.

SSP Baramulla Ab Qayoom confirmed to wire service—Kashmir News Observer(KNO), and said that during the investigation we have recovered one AK 47 and one magazine from his possession.

Meanwhile, officials identified the militant as Bashir Ahmad beigh Son of Gh Mohi ud din resident of Shirpora Kreeri was active since one year.

As per KNO, in this regard FIR no. 12/2020 us 7/25 IA ACT 18,20,38 ULP Act was registered in Police Station Chandusa and further investigation started—(KNO)
