Awantipora, Jan 25 : The Jammu and Kashmir police in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district have attached the immovable property of a militant associate for providing logistic support to militants of proscribed militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad.
In a statement issued to the news agency KPS, an official spokesperson said that immovable property comprising of a house belonging to an associate of militants of proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad was attached under relevant provisions of law.
He said that property has been attached in connection with crime No. 03/2020 of police station Khrew, Awantipora.
“Pertinent to mention that one Army Jawan and one policeman achieved martyrdom while fighting militants in the incident covered by the said case and two militants of proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad were killed,” the statement reads.
