Awantipora, Jan 25 : The Jammu and Kashmir police in Awantipora area of south Kashmirโ€™s Pulwama district have attached the immovable property of a militant associate for providing logistic support to militants of proscribed militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad.

In a statement issued to the news agency KPS, an official spokesperson said that immovable property comprising of a house belonging to an associate of militants of proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad was attached under relevant provisions of law.

He said that property has been attached in connection with crime No. 03/2020 of police station Khrew, Awantipora.

โ€œPertinent to mention that one Army Jawan and one policeman achieved martyrdom while fighting militants in the incident covered by the said case and two militants of proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad were killed,โ€ the statement reads.
