Budgam, Apr 17 : The authorities on Saturday sealed two chicken shops for violating the government approved rates in Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that naib tehsildar Chadoora along with other officials today conducted a special drive against chicken sellers and sealed two shops for selling chicken on much higher rates.

He said that they had received complaints from many areas about chicken sellers selling chicken at higher rates than what government has approved per kilogram.

“We carried out checking in many areas and found these sellers violating government fixed rates,” he said adding that the drive against such violators will continue.

He also appealed to the people to cooperate with the administration and register complaints against the violators—(KNO)
