Srinagar, Apr 21: The government of the Union Territory of Ladakh on Wednesday ordered suspension of classwork/ classroom activity in all Higher Educational Institutions of the territory.

In an order from Secretary, Higher Education Padma Angmo, reads โ€œOn the basis of the Covid-19 assessment, it is hereby ordered that the classroom teaching in all the higher educational institutions in the Ladakh shall remain suspended till 30th April, 2021.The university, Colleges and institutes shall resort to online classes during the period, reads the order lies with News Agency KDC.

The order further reads โ€œHowever the University, colleges and institutes may decide to continue the ongoing and forthcoming examinations as well as the laboratory work, research, internship etc requiring physical presence, with strict compliance of Covid protocols, the order added. (KDC)
