Srinagar: Rashtriya Jan Kranti Party State President Mirza Sajad Hussain Beigh on Saturday demand action against the army men who thrashed policeman in Gund area of Ganderbal district late last night. A police official said that 30 army men in civvies beat up an ASI and other policemen who asked them to stop at a check-post while they were returning from Amarnath Yatra.

Following the assault at the check-post, army men in civvies entered into police station Gund along with army soldiers from COB Gund and COB Surfraw 24 RR headed by captain Shukla and thrashed all the police personnel present there.
