Baramulla, Sep 12: Baramulla Police solved a burglary case within 72 hoursand recovered 53 stolen mobile phones.

A complaint was lodged by Rafi Jabbar Mir son of Abdul Jabbar Mir resident of Delina  with Police Station Baramulla stating that some unknown burglars had entered into his electronics shop at Delina and had stolen a large number of mobile phones.

Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 155/2017 under section 457, 380 RPC was registered at Police Station Baramulla and investigation started.

During the course of investigation, several suspects were rounded up and strenuous efforts were made to recover the stolen mobile phones. Two suspects Altaf Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Majeed Bhat and Zahoor Ahmad son of Ghulam Rasool Zargar, both residents of Krankshivan, Sopore revealed during questioning that they had stolen the mobile phones  and upon their disclosure 53 stolen mobile phones of different models were recovered. Further questioning of the accused persons is going on. (CNS)
