New Delhi, Sep 18 : Delhi Police arrested an alleged Al-Qaeda operative Shami-ur-Rehman alias Shomon Haq from the national capital, who was trying to radicalise the Rohingyas Muslims, police said today.
The 27-year-old was nabbed yesterday by a special cell team near a bus stand in Shakarpur, at around 1800 hrs, on a tip-off.
The suspect was later produced before Additional Sessions Judge Sidharth Sharma, who sent him to police custody till September 30. (UNI)
