Traders, Transporters bodies calls for shutdown on 25 Sep.

SRINAGAR: National Investigation Agency (NIA) summons Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Association (KTMF) president Yasin Khan and Kashmir university scholar Aala Fazili to its headquarters in New Delhi, reports said.

Following the summoning of KTMF President, Traders’ and transporters’ bodies in Kashmir have called for a strike on September 25 against the notice to Khan by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, KTMF, KEA and transporters called for complete shutdown to protest against the NIA notice. They said that Khan has been asked to appear before the NIA as a witness in New Delhi on September 25.

On the other hand, Aala Fazili who is pursuing Phd in Pharmacy department has been asked to appear at NIA headquarter on September 25. Fazili is a resident of Humhama area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

The Central probe agency has arrested seven Hurriyat leaders in an alleged cross-border funding case.
