New Delhi, Sept 27 : Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today took a jibe at the sharp criticism of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s handling of the economy by senior BJP leader and former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha.
In an article in a leading English daily, Mr Sinha had said, ‘The Prime Minister claims that he has seen poverty from close quarters.
His finance minister is working over time to make sure that all Indians also see it from equally close quarters.
‘ In a post on Twitter, Mr Gandhi, taking a jibe at Mr Jaitley’s handling of the economy, said, ‘Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your copilot & FM speaking.
