Jammu, Oct 21: Jammu based Sunjwan Military Station on Saturday witnessed a historic moment when Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Bipin Rawat on behalf of the President of India Ram Nath Kovind presented the ‘President’s Standard’ to 47 Armoured Regiment here.
The standard is an award for unit heroism and epitomizes the history, undaunting spirit and acts of valour forged in sweat and blood of the regiment.
