Srinagar: National Investigation Agency (NIA) has summoned the grandson of Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin in funding case.

Sources said that Muzamil Ahmad Khan S/o Nazir Ahmad Khan of Daharmuna Budgam has been summoned for questioning by NIA on October 28 (Saturday). Muzamil is the son of Salahuddinโ€™s elder daughter.

Pertinently, NIA has arrested Salauddinโ€™s son Syed Shahid Yousuf and had raided his house in Soibugh area of central Kashmirโ€™s Budgam district.

During the raid, NIA seized 5 mobile phones, two hard discs, one laptop and ‘incriminating documents’ from the house of Shahid

Notably, a Delhi court On Thursday sent Shahid to a seven-day NIA custody.

Shahid was arrested Tuesday in New Delhi by the agency and is accused of receiving and collecting funds through international wire money transfer over the years.
