Jammu: The dry spell is likely to end by November 14 and 15 as the Meteorological Department has predicted moderate rains in plains and fresh snowfall on higher reaches in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.

“We are expecting a spell of light rain between November 14 and 15,” Sonam Lotus, Director MeT, J&K told UNI here on Sunday.

Mr Lotus said the longest dry spells in the past couple of decades were witnessed in 2016 and 2017.

“With spell of rains, Smog will also come to an end and the visibility will improve,” said the MeT Director.
