Srinagar, Nov 17: A police officer who was critically injured in a firing incident at Zukura area of Srinagar has succumbed to his injuries.
A police officer told news agency that sub inspector Imran Tak died of bullet wounds here shortly after the attack. He said that the militants were travelling in a vehicle when intercepted by government forces at a checkpoint.
wo cops including a sub-inspector (SI) and Special Police Officer (SPO) were injured after militants opened fire on a police party in Zakura area of Srinagar.
A militant has been reportedly arrested by cops at the firing spot. More details awaited.
