Srinagar: Upping the ante at state government over Health department stating that its Minister Bhali Bhagat is pregnant and attends antenatal classes, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah said small mistakes point to lack of seriousness and lack of attention to details.
Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), twitted a picture of Health department hoarding which has picture of Mr Bhagat and read, “On 9th of every month doctors come to district hospital. Pregnant women like me get free treatment…”
The state government also had to face embracement after the Rural Development department gave November 31 days in its yearly calendar.
However, Mr Bhagat hit back at Mr Abdullah alleging that he had twitted a cropped image for misleading the masses. He also twitted the picture of hoarding which has Mr Bhagat on one side and a woman on another side. “@OmarAbdullah is misleading the masses. It doesn’t suit a former CM to use cropped images for publicity. Really unfortunate. @BJP4JnK @rammadhavbjp,” Mr Bhagat said.
“After the Rural Development Dept gave Nov 31 days the Health Dept has just declared that their Minister (male) is pregnant & attending Antenatal classes. Small mistakes point to a lack of seriousness & lack of attention to detail,” Mr Abdullah wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
“Or is it prenatal classes? I never know which is which but either way the health dept has declared that their minister is pregnant,” he added.
