SRINAGAR, JAN 19: The Jammu and Kashmir assembly on Friday witnesses uproar when opposition National conference and Congress demanded the status of Kathua Girl murder case.
As soon as proceedings of the house started the opposition members stood up on their seats and demand the action against the officers for their negligence.
They Shouted slogans like “Ladli beti ko Insaaf do” and “Sharam Karo Sharam karo”. NC legislator Ali Mohammad Sagar alleges that government is not taking the matter seriously.
GM Saroori Congress MLA demanded action against the police officers for their negligence. “Where was SSP”? “Where was Sho”? He added. Later Minister for revenue and Parliamentary affairs told the house that special investigation team has already formed investigation is going on.
“Who so ever will be found guilty will be dealt under the law even if officers were involved will be also punished,” the minister said. He also ordered magisterial inquiry Kathua minor murder in time bound matter. (PTK)
