SRINAGAR, FEB 12 : Chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday  said that that people in Jammu and Kashmir are suffering. She in an apparent message to Center said that dialogue with Pakistan is imperative to end the bloodshed.

Mehbooba took to social networking website Twitter to send her message across. “Dialogue with Pakistan is necessary if we are to end bloodshed. I know I will be labelled anti-national by news anchors tonight but that doesn’t matter. The people of J&K are suffering. We have to talk because war is not an option,” Mehbooba wrote on Twitter.

Pertinently there has been continuous flare up between India and Pakistan along the border in the recent past, and there has also been increase in militant attacks in the state. (PTK)
