Srinagar: Police on Saturday arrested JKLF chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik ahead of the protest march at Jamia Masjid Srinagar.
Malik was arrested at Khanyar when he was on way to Jamia Masjid to lead a protest, a JKLF spokesperson said.
โ€œPolice near Gousia hospital Khanyar stopped the vehicle that Yasin Malik was driving and assaulted him,โ€ the spokesperson said alleged that Malik was injured and virtually dragged to police station Khanyar from where he along with another JKLF leader Bashir Kashmiri were shifted to police station Kothibagh.
