Srinagar, May 5 : A speeding truck crushed fifty-five sheep to death near Poshana along Mughal road in Surankote area of Poonch district on Saturday.
DSP Surankote Reyaz Ahmad told GNS that the truck (JK02T-2181) crushed the sheep. The driver of the truck, he said abandoned the vehicle and fled from the scene.
The vehicle has been seized and further investigations have been taken up after registration of the case. (GNS)
