New Delhi, May 7 : Thunderstorms, accompanied with squall, are likely to occur at some places in Delhi and other states of the country on Monday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) says in its forecast.
According to the Met Department, the other places where thunderstorms ares expected are Haryana , Chandigarh, Jammu and kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab.
The IMD said that thunderstorms, accompanied with squall and hail, are likely to occur are Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab.
The IMD said that duststorms very likely at isolated places over Rajasthan, the Met office said.
It has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied with gusty winds at isolated places in West Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram Tripura, interior Karnataka and Kerala.
However, heat wave conditions are likely at one or two pockets over Vidarbha.
