Jammu, May 14: Security forces along with Army and Police on Monday carried out joint search operation after a group of suspects was seen along Indo-Pak international border in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“On the intervening night of May 13 and 14 at about 0015 hour, BSF troops noticed a suspicious movement of three to four suspected persons with combant uniform and with pithu bag in tarnàh nallah in between BOP Bobiya and Londi of Hiranagar tehsil,” police sources here said.
They said that it seems they might have infiltrated, adding, “all troops are on alert while search operation is being carried out.”
Choppers are also being used for search, they said.
“So far no contact has been established in the area but search operation is in progress,” Shridhar Patil, SSP Kathua told UNI.
