Srinagar: Firing was heard in Tral forests on Wednesday which was followed by an intense search operation by government forces.
Police sources said that militants hiding in Shikargah forest of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district fired upon an army patrolling party.
They said soon after the firing, the area was cordoned off and search operation was launched.
