Newspaper Kashmir Scenario as media partner to cultural event withdraws three lakhs rupees bills illegally

Srinagar: Bringing shame to the media fraternity, notorious editor of a weekly newspaper who is known for black mailing and cheating has yet again come to forefront in another scandal in Handicrafts department and tourism department simultaneously.

According to reports, Mudasir Gulzar who is director and producer with Doordharshan and owner of S.R Event Management Company under registration no. 010334788  with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of J&K holds its cultural event in 2015 in which Handicrafts department, Tourism department, traffic police of JK and several others where sponsors for holding cultural event.

Whereas, weekly newspaper Kashmir Scenario was acting as media partner including others.

Editor Kashmir Scenario, Malik Sajid allegedly influenced the higher officials of Handicrafts department and tourism department and withdraws money bills sanctioned to S. R Event Management company for holding cultural event ‘Shaam-e-Sufiyana’ at Tagore Hall.

Mudasir Gulzar who was rigorously following the money bills of the event to get sanctioned so that he can clear the credit bills but to his utter surprise, he came to know that three lakh rupees has been transferred to the account No:  0005040100060262 of Sameed Malik son of Mohammad Shafi Malik resident of Madina Colony, Bemina and brother of editor Kashmir Scenario Malik Sajid.

On receiving a complaint, police lodges an FIR into the incident and started investigation under FIR No. 36/2016 date 18/06/2016.

During the course of investigation police probe also reveals that Malik Sajad not only does forgery for withdrawing money bills but has also submitted same S.R Event Company license under his name.

Mudasir Gulzar, proprietor S. R Event Management Company while talking to Kashmir Press Service (KPS) said that soon after the incident approached several media organizations for highlighting the issue was unfortunately shown doors everywhere.

Gulzar said, Kashmir Scenario editor Malik Sajid time to time threatened me not to follow the case to avoid any untoward incident.

A senior police official handling the case told Kashmir Press Service that they are sure to bring culprits brought to book soon. He confirmed that several officials in the Handicrafts department and tourism department are also involved in the scam and which will be put in public at earliest.

He said that they have recovered solid evidence of forgery and loot of public money.

It is pertinent to mention here that, police has recently lodges FIR against Malik Sajid and others in uploading fake news and tarnishing image of former Finance Minister.
