Sitamarhi, Jun 04 :Four members of a family were killed at Vanchauri village under Dumra police station area in the district late last night.
Police said here today that children of the first wife of one Ram Vilas (60) slit open the throats of their father, step mother Sunita Devi (45) and her two children Chola Shah (24) and Rahul (19) and shot them dead.
Sources said the reason behind the incident was dispute between the step children over a portion of land.
Acting swiftly, police arrested all three accused. Further investigation is on, sources added.
