Srinagar: A massive search operation has been launched in Hajin area of Bandipora district Wednesday after militants fired many grenades at an Army camp late last night.
The camp of 13 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) in Hajin area of Bandipora was targeted by the militants last night, sparking heavy cross firing.
Army retaliated to the firing from the militants and the cross firing lasted for some time, reports quoting police officials said.
According to news agency ANI, at least four to six militants had stormed the Army camp from two sides.
The militants reportedly fired around eight rounds using Underbarrel Grenade Launcher towards army.(Agencies)
