New Delhi, June 8 : A delegation led by Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Friday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to thank him for the government’s ‘Seva Bhoj Yojna’, which will reimburse the Central share of CGST and IGST on items for langar and prasad, offered free of cost by Charitable Religious Institutions, including gurdwaras.
The delegation, which also consisted of members from Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, also thanked the Prime Minister for the series of measures taken by the Union Government to ease the burden on sugarcane farmers.
