Islamabad, June 17ย  : Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has announced its candidates for 31 constituencies of the National Assembly in Sindh out of 61.
The candidates include PML-N president and former Punjab province chief minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, who filed nomination papers for NA-249 Karachi, a report in Radio Pakistan said on Sunday.
Earlier, the PML-N chief did an about-turn when he backtracked from a decision to contest the polls from Karachiโ€™s three NA constituencies, including NA-248, NA-249 and NA-250.
No candidate has been fielded against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in NA-200 Larkana.
However, Senator Saleem Zia of PML-N will be challenging Bilawal in NA-246 Karachi.
PML-Nโ€™s GM Shah will contest the polls against PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari in NA-213 Nawabshah and Sheikh Muhammad Shah against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan in NA-243.
