Srinagar: BJP Secretary General, Ram Madhav on Tuesday while announcing that his party has decided to pull out of the alliance with PDP in Jammu Kashmir, said in New Delhi “Freedom of speech is under threat in Jammu and Kashmir.

“We saw how Shujaat Bukhari was killed. People of Jammu and Ladakh regions are facing discrimination,” Ram said in a presser.

“Terrorism, violence and radicalisation have risen and fundamental rights of the citizens of J&K are under danger. Shujaat Bukhari’s killing is an example,” Ram added.

“PDP in Jammu & Kashmir failed to contain the situation, especially in Kashmir Valley,” Ram Madhav said.

As reported the BJP today decided to pull out of its ruling alliance with the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, the BJP has already sent a letter to Governor NN Vohra saying that the party intends to withdraw support to the PDP.(Agencies)
