Srinagar: A girl on Monday evening attempted suicide by jumping into river Jhelum in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Witness told Kashmir Reader that a girl in her 20’s (name withheld) jumped into river Jhelum at Chankhan area of Sopore, however timely action by the police saved the girl.
Meanwhile police have registered a case and further investigation has been taken up.(Agencies)
