New Delhi, Jul 2  :Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday strongly condemned the terror attacks in Afghanistan and said India stands ready to assist the Afghan government in this “sad hour”.
“We strongly condemn the terror attacks in Afghanistan yesterday. They are an attack on Afghanistan’s multicultural fabric,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
He also wrote, “My thoughts are with the bereaved families. I pray that the injured recover soon. India stands ready to assist the Afghanistan government in this sad hour”.
A suicide bombing in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad had killed at least 19 people, most of them members of the Sikh minority.
